Social media has given pigeons the reputation as “cuddly birds”. While pigeons who mate-bond to their owners may become cuddly, this is actually not to be expected when adopting a pet pigeon! Pigeons may only flock-bond to owners (or not want to bond to a human at all!). Some pigeons may bond and simply not express affection through cuddling ☺️.
